Your Fields BMW Northfield dealership thinks that it is time for BMW drivers and enthusiasts to get ready to feel the power because the BMW M lineup will be zooming into dealerships across the United States in Spring 2012. Although the BMW M Performance sub-brand will feature vehicles that can be used for practical daily driving, these vehicles are also specially equipped to increase speed and agility in BMW sports cars.
Currently BMW offers a selection of high-performance vehicles including the 1 Series M Coupe, M3 Coupe, M3 convertible, X5 M sports-activity vehicle and X6 M sports-activity coupe. With the unveiling of the new M sub-brand BMW plans to provide drivers with more options in the BMW M Performance lineup. In a company press release, President of BMW M GmbH, Dr. Friedrich Nitschke, said, "We are targeting our efforts at customers looking for more emotionality and more performance, but who do not want to forgo the everyday usability of their cars."
In Chicago, used BMW drivers and enthusiasts are particularly excited that BMW recently confirmed that drivers can choose to equip the 2013 BMW M5 with a six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed M-Double Clutch Transmission. A 4.4-liter V8 engine powers the 2013 BMW M5 and pumps out an incredible 560 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. For drivers interested in such a commanding sports car, the 2013 BMW M5 will likely be available to U.S. customers in late summer 2012
The first chance to sneak a peak at the BMW M Performance lineup will be at the International Geneva Motor Show in March 2012, so please stay tuned for more information and details about BMW's newest set of powerful and sleek sports cars.
