With summer quickly approaching, it seems like high gas prices are here to stay.  These expensive rates at the pump mean that Chicagoland drivers are quickly recognizing the importance of finding a practical and fuel-efficient vehicle.  Luckily, BMW continues to prove to be a leader in developing technology to increase the fuel economy ratings for its luxurious vehicles.  At your Fields BMW Northfield dealership, we are particularly excited about the recently released fuel economy rating for the 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i sports-activity vehicle. 

Chicagoans have been enjoying the record-high March temperatures, but this week Chicago and its surrounding suburbs broke a less-exciting record with the highest average price for a gallon of gas and experts are predicting that gas prices will continue to increase as we approach the summer months.  To help relieve some of the pressure at the pump, the 2012 BMW 3 Series is equipped with a multitude of features intended to promote good fuel economy including Eco Pro mode and the automatic start stop function.
