Earlier this week, BMW announced that it had partnered up with the Uber rideshare service to offer complimentary rides to certain lucky patrons in the all-new 2016 BMW 7 Series! For those lucky Uber users in New York, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles, BMW and Uber teamed up to offer free rides on Monday, October 19th. These free rides were offered ahead of the upcoming October 24th U.S. retail launch of the flagship sedan.

On Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th, drivers in those same markets were also able to test-drive the new 2016 BMW 7-Series through the Uber app. Jason Chan, 6 & 7 Series Product Manager for BMW of North America, had this to say about the exciting and innovative partnership:

"With our new 7 Series being the most innovative vehicle in its class, it’s only fitting that we partnered with Uber to offer a unique and exciting way to experience our flagship model prior to retail launch"

The thrilling and fun way to spread the word of the upcoming 2016 BMW 7-Series launch was also a unique and exciting experience for Uber. Amy Friedlander Hoffman, Head of Business Development and Experiential Marketing at Uber, had this to say:
