2023 BMW X5 Performance

The 2023 BMW X5 offers four available trim levels, with the higher trims delivering blistering performance. The X5 sDrive 40i and xDrive 40i represent the core models, equipped with a 3-liter inline six-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. These vehicles generate up to 335 horsepower.

The BMW X5 xDrive45e provides an electrified option, where the same engine from the core model is paired with a 48-volt electric motor. This BMW plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) achieves 30 miles of all-electric power and generates up to 389 horsepower. 

Two BMW M models finish out the trim packages available with the 2023 BMW X5. These high-performance vehicles are equipped with a powerful 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo gas-powered engine. This SAV can be tuned to achieve up to an amazing 617 horsepower.
