Recently, the BMW Group released October 2013 sales and it's giving us here at Fields BMW Northfield great insight into which BMW vehicles drivers are actively seeking, not only locally but nation-wide.

Sales of BMW vehicles increased 4.3% from October 2012, with a handful of top-selling vehicles driving sales.

In the month of October, the top-selling BMW vehicle was the BMW X1. Chicago drivers should not see this as a surprise since it is a favorite on the road.  2013 BMW X1 sales increased a whopping 60.4% in October compared to October 2012 sales figures. We are convinced that the popularity will continue for the 2013 BMW X1.  Chicago drivers love its style, dependability, performance and value. The BMW 3 Series and the newly launched BMW 4 Series also were top sales performers with an increase of 20.4% compared to last year.

“The momentum of October is a good indicator of what’s ahead in the final 60 days of the year, especially with sales of the new X5 and the 4 Series beginning to have an impact. All of the leading indicators – sales, order rates, showroom traffic, finance applications – are up, very good signs.” - Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America

The other top selling BMW vehicles in October were the BMW 5 Series (18.7% increase) and the BMW 6 Series (19.6% increase) compared to same month sales last year.

The most recent sales figures also reflect that drivers are seeking out BMW pre-owned vehicles in addition to new model releases.  In October, sales of BMW pre-owned vehicles increased over 23% compared to October 2012! Be sure to stop in Fields BMW Northfield to check out some of these top sellers!
