Automatic Collision Notification was added for model year 2000 and over the last fifteen years, it has made a difference in countless lives. In 2009, this notification program received a ground-breaking enhancement with the Urgency Algorithm that, for the first time ever, utilized data from the vehicle’s crash sensors and delivers a prediction of the likelihood of severe injury in addition to key information such as the vehicle’s location. This allows for first responders to better prepare themselves for what will be happening when they arrive on the scene.

Today, BMW Assist includes TeleService as standard equipment. It monitors service needs, such as when the oil needs to be changed and how the brakes are faring. It also includes Remote Service for if your keys are locked inside the vehicle, and Stolen Vehicle Recovery works recover your vehicle in case it is ever stolen.
