It serves as iHeartMedia’s digital radio platform and averages more than 245 million monthly listeners in the United States to go along with 97 million monthly digital uniques and 196 million monthly consumers of its content. Services include radio broadcasting as well as online, mobile, digital and social media live concerts and events.

With the partnership iHeartRadio has created the iHeartRadio for Auto app that was specifically certified by BMW as being safe to use while driving a vehicle. The app uses the BMW Group’s Apps for Automotive technology and can be downloaded onto any iOS (Apple) device. Once your smartphone is hooked up via a USB port and the app launched, drivers can control the app with various functions of the iDrive Controller. Drivers can now enjoy access to thousands of iHeartRadio’s live radio stations as well as a catalog of more than 20 million songs and 800,000 artists. It also offers a personalized “For You” feature that will tailor recommendations based on music preference.
