This model will come powered by a 4.4-liter V8 Bi-Turbo V8 that delivers 600 horsepower and 590 pound-foot of torque, which is about 60 hp more than the 2015 model. This engine comes paired with an advanced ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission and the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system. In industry testing, this superb model went from zero to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds, and it can reach a maximum speed of 200 mph. Drivers will have the option of three different shift modes: the automatic (D) shift mode that uses a flexible blend of all eight speeds and high torque to create smooth gear changes; the Sport (S) shift mode, where the transmission comes significantly more dynamic with faster executed gear changes and more direct feedback; and the Manual (M) shift mode, which gives the driver full control over the transmission.
On the inside, drivers will find high-quality materials, full Nappa leather upholstery, a leather instrument panel, electric comfort seats, and more! It comes equipped with all the latest in in-car technology such as a touchscreen with both the BMW Navigation and BMW ConnectedDrive systems.
