All the BMW services fall under the umbrella of the BMW ConnectedDrive system, and can be booked and updated via the Internet, either at home or directly from the car thanks to the BMW ConnectedDrive Store. Once booked, the services will be available for use within minutes. A few of the features available are Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI), which gives you up to date traffic information; the smartphone App Store, which can be found in the ConnectedDrive or BMW Online system via the iDrive Controller; and an embedded SIM card that will help to organize rapid emergency response in case of an accident or emergency. While the ConnectedDrive Store is not yet available in the United States yet, it will offer most of the same exact features as the current European version.
