The 2016 BMW 7 Series will come in two trim levels: the 740i and the 750i xDrive models. Both will features the BMW brand’s latest technologies including Gesture Control, Wireless Charging, and the standalone option of the Display Key. For the first time in the United States, the exterior stylings will include an active kidney grille and air breather. The 740i model features a 3.0-liter inline-six that generates 320 horsepower, while the 750i comes powered by a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine that delivers 445 horsepower. Both engines come paired to an eight-speed steptronic engine that offers more comfortable shifting and comes paired to the navigation system. It also features a brake energy regeneration system and auto start stop function to ensure highly efficient energy management. Drivers love the advanced features such as the BMW iDrive 5.0 infotainment and communications system that pairs to touchscreen technology and the new Gesture Control system that uses pre-selected hand movements to initiate and use the controls.
