Earlier this week at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, BMW unveiled two all-new BMW models and their pricing! The all-new 2016 BMW M2 offers drivers that renowned BMW M performance and style that drivers have come to know and love! With its sleek exterior and stylish and dynamic interior, the new entry model perfectly aligns with the BMW M tradition. It features the newly developed M TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that makes 365 horsepower and 343 pound-foot of torque between 1,400 and 5,560 RPM and when the overboost function is engaged, that figure rises to 369 pound-foot of torque between 1,450 and 4,570 rpm. In testing, it accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds topping out at 155 mph. It offers drivers agility, directional stability, steering precision, and excellent controllability at that speed. It should hit dealership lots starting in April 2016.
The 2016 BMW X4 M40i also offers the free-revving thrill and performance that the BMW M line is known for. With its developed motor and outstanding power delivery, drivers will get a jolt every time they push down on the accelerator. It comes powered by a Performance TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine that makes 355 horsepower and 343 pound-foot of torque. It leapt from zero to 60 in a jaw-dropping 4.7 seconds, which clocks in at best-in-class acceleration. It comes with the customary sleek exterior styling and a refined interior that features the BMW ConnectedDrive telematics system. It will be available at BMW dealers in February 2016.
