The 2017 BMW 7 Series is one of three vehicles to be named to both the 10 Best User Experiences List and the 10 Best Interiors List. Keep reading to find out more!
Entrants on the list were examined by the WardsAuto editors for how easily the vehicle integrates with its driver’s smartphone, how user friendly and intuitive the controls are, how the intelligent and helpful the advanced driver assistance technologies are, and how aesthetically pleasing and comfortable the cabin materials are. Drew Winter, WardsAuto Senior Content Director, had this to say about how a vehicle earns a spot on the list:
"We’re paying close attention to touchscreens, navigation systems, and infotainment capability, and we want to know if voice controls work well and if connecting your smartphone is simple. We’re trying to quantify how easy it is overall to interact with a vehicle. Are controls easy to understand, or do you have to consult the owner’s manual? Are the driver-assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping, functioning reliably, and do the interior materials enhance the user experience?"
