The four-door 2017 BMW 5 Series is a premium midsize sedan that offers mature and confident style, impressive powertrains, and a refined and well-stocked interior. It will be available in two trim levels: BMW 530i and BMW 540i. The 2017 BMW 530i features a new 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine that generates 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. In industry testing it accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 6 seconds. The 2017 BMW 540i gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that delivers 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from zero to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. Both models feature the BMW brand’s intelligent all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.
Both models feature a number of the BMW brand’s connectivity, driver assistance, and tech features. Drivers are sure to appreciate the BMW brand’s iDrive display with touchpad controller along with Gesture Control, Intelligent Voice Control, and a touchscreen interface with Bluetooth phone and audio control, navigation, voice commands, and more!
