The four-door 2017 BMW X4 is a five-passenger compact luxury SUV that features sleek style and a coupe-like roofline. It is available in two trim levels, which correspond to engine choice: xDrive28i and M40i. The 2017 BMW xDrive28i is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has an output of 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 BMW M40i gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that delivers 360 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. According to BMW, it should accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. Both engines come paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
The BMW brand is known for its luxurious and comfortable interiors and the 2017 BMW X4 will not disappoint. The BMW X4 xDrive28i gets automatic adaptive xenon headlights, adaptive LED taillights, automatic wipers, a sunroof, eight-way power front seats, SensaTec premium vinyl upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a rear liftgate. Electronic features include a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, the BMW iDrive electronics interface, and the BMW Assist emergency communications system.
