The BMW ConnectedDrive system offers drivers a number of great features, technologies, and features that allow you not only to connect with everything that you consider to be important, such as you family, weather updates, navigational directions, and traffic updates. The BMW ConnectedDrive Driver Assistance system offers you greater comfort when you’re behind the wheel, while also offering you assistance. Take the Parking Assistant, for example. The Parking Assistant uses linear guidance to park the vehicle completely automatically, in both parallel and perpendicular parking spaces. The system works by measuring potential parking spaces as you drive by at low speeds. If the driver chooses to park the vehicle manually without using the Parking Assistant, the Active Park Distance Control system offers additional protection against damage.

The Surround View system includes the camera-based functions rearview camera, Panorama View, Top View, and 3D View. The cameras in the exterior mirrors as well as those at the front and rear of the vehicle all form a 360-degree all-around view. In 3D View, a computer-generated 3D view is shown simultaneously on your car’s screen while parking so you can see where you’re at in regards to your surroundings. Many new BMW models, including some 2017 BMW 7 Series and 2017 BMW X5 models offer these great new features. Head down to Fields BMW Northfield to learn more today!
