Earlier this month at the 2017 CES held in Las Vegas, the BMW brand earned two category wins in the JD Power Tech Experience Index Study (TXI)! Both the 2016 BMW 2 Series and 2016 BMW 4 Series earned recognition from JD Power. The JD Power Tech Experience Study reflects customer experience within 35 different technologies grouped in six categories: Navigation, Entertainment and Connectivity, Comfort and Convenience, Collision Protection, Driving Assistance, and Smartphone Mirroring. The study allows for automobile manufacturers and designers to understand and minimize the gap between consumer experience and execution.
The BMW brand placed second overall while taking two of the three awards given in the premium segment. The 2016 BMW 2 Series was named number one in the Best Small Premium category while the 2016 BMW 4 Series won the Best Premium Compact. The brand’s strong finish in the inaugural TXI Study shows that it has made a commitment to its drivers by being on the cutting edge of connectivity, infotainment, and driver assistance systems.
