The 2017 BMW X6 is a midsize crossover that offers sleek style and seating for up to five passengers. There are three primary models, or trims, available: the BMW X6 sDrive35i, BMW X6 xDrive35i, and BMW xDrive50i. There are two available powertrains that correlate to trim level. The BMW X6 sDrive35i and BMW X6 xDrive35i both get a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that generates 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. sDrive models come standard with rear-wheel drive, while xDrive models feature the BMW brand’s intuitive all-wheel-drive system. The 2017 BMW X6 xDrive50i gets a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 445 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come paired to an eight-speed automatic.
