Some of our favorite BMW X Series models are getting upgraded for the new model year. Here's what you can expect to see when the next crop of 2022 models lands at Fields BMW Northfield later this year.
2022 BMW X3 and 2022 BMW X4
We're including these five-seater SAVs together because the updates for both are mostly similar. Both are getting thinner, more angular headlights, while the iconic kidney grilles on both vehicles are set to grow in size. The taillamps have also been reshaped, as BMW has said that the goal is to get both models to “convey more presence” than before.
The interior has also received some upgrades, but perhaps the biggest news is the addition of 48-volt hybridization technology to the models that are powered by six-cylinder engines. This new technology is designed to help each of these models become even more efficient without sacrificing the performance they're each known for.
2022 BMW X5
The 2022 BMW X5 isn't getting redesigned for the new model year, but it is getting a new limited-edition trim level. The Black Vermillion model stands out thanks to its Merino Black leather upholstery with red piping, leather-covered dashboard, and glass shifter. It also offers plenty of tech and the capabilities you want from a BMW crossover, including a premium audio system and xDrive all-wheel drive. There will only be 350 of these models available, so act fast if you want to drive away in one of these limited-edition 2022 BMW X5 models!
